The Fusion Festival is a celebration of research, education and professional practice culminating in events created and run by Department of Events and Leisure Students at Bournemouth University between April 3rd and 7th, 2017. The events will break down barriers, creating a continuous and fruitful exchange of knowledge. By working with staff, charities, organizations, institutions, and businesses; level 5 BAEM event students will develop and co-create events and activities which will enable them to represent themselves, the Department of Events and Leisure as well as Bournemouth University. The goal is to celebrate Department of Events & Leisure students and the future representatives of the events industry, as well as those in our the broader BU community,

Make yourself more employable globally: A new and fun way to make yourself more globally employable. Speak to industry experts, gain hints and tips to make yourself stand out from the crowd with great prizes to be won, take part in the interactive workshop and get your free professional portrait taken for a CV or LinkedIn profile.

Can You Cuban?: A Cuban themed mini festival with activities to participate in and be in with a chance of winning prizes. A Pirate’s life for me: Eight interactive challenges promoting cultural awareness using foods, drinks, music and facts. Teams compete to be the best seven seas best voyagers, all proceeds to Make A Wish Foundation.

GlobeFit: A unique unmissable fitness event incorporating two of the newest most exciting workouts taking the UK health and fitness industry by storm!
